Description
You can configure you own data packages or pick one of our predefined areas. Right afterwards you can use all functions completely offline.
Our data packages are extremely small. And you can receive them automatically or retrieve them as needed.
Also new: you now longer need to load and change background maps. SEAMAN PRO contains a complete new vectored map of the complete world. You can zoom in or out and shift the map as you need.
All relevant parameters
To make sure you get a conclusive picture the following parameters are displayed – clear and descriptive via numerical values, symbols, color layers as well as via “flow”:
- Average wind speed and direction
- Gust potential
- Pressure including isobars
- Weather condition
- Cloudiness
- Air temperature
- Wave height, direction and period
- Swell height, direction and period
- Wind sea height, direction and period
- Current at the surface of the water
To be switched on and of separately as needed.
Self made passage planning: perfect and very easy!
You can set a course with as any waypoints as you wish and save it. While you set the waypoints the direction and distance from the last waypoint are constantly displayed.
SEAMAN PRO calculates the weather along the passage. The passage weather report clearly shows the development of the weather along the passage. This allows you to quickly decided if you want to take that route at that time or if you need to change anything. The perfect route can be found with just a few clicks.
Meteogramm: You can also see the weather along your route in these clearly laid our graphs.
Speed profile: The speed profile allows even more precise passage planning. You have to input your speed at 4Bft and half wind. An internal diagram calculates your speed depending on the wind along the route. You can also adapt the diagram to make it even more exact.
In addition to the licence you need a valid GRIB data booking (or you simply buy one of our all inclusive packages).
